Multiverse Theory

Also known as the Oxford interpretation of quantum mechanics, the multiverse is a hypothetical set of either finite or possibly infinite universes, including the universe we consistently experience that together comprise everything that exists. Individual universes within the multiverse are sometimes called parallel or alternate universes. See John Titor’s Story for what a practical application of multiverse theory might look like.
